questions?

Below are the questions every prospect asks. If yours isn’t answered here, reach the team directly — no call center, no sales scripts.

Does my money leave my account?

No — your capital never transfers to Forte Mare. For Basic, we deliver trade direction and you execute manually on any broker. For Standard and Executive, the system stages each trade in your own Interactive Brokers account and you confirm it with one click — no trade ever fires without your affirmative consent. We never custody funds, and you can revoke the connection any time from your IB account.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — a 14-day free trial, paper or live, your choice. Your card is on file but not charged during the trial. After it, your first month is charged and fully covered by a money-back guarantee, no questions asked — so you can evaluate Forte Mare for roughly 45 days at no risk. Subscribe, or walk away. Cancel anytime.

What is the system actually doing?

It reads a core market dynamic: price expansion and contraction. When price moves out of — or back into — a consolidation range, it creates predictable behavioral responses among market participants. Forte Mare is designed to participate in the edge those responses create, adjusted for immediate probabilities and overall market context. Current deployment is the E-mini S&P 500 (ES) on a 5-minute timeframe.

Is this financial advice?

No. Forte Mare operates under the publisher's exemption (CFTC Rule 4.14(a)(9)). The system delivers fully standardized output — identical for every subscriber. Nothing is personalized to your circumstances. This is trading infrastructure, not financial advice.

What does it cost, and what do I get?

Three subscription tiers plus one optional add-on. Basic ($349/mo): trade direction delivered; you choose which signals to act on and execute manually on any broker. Standard ($599/mo): one-click trade placement on MES micro contracts — system stages the order in your Interactive Brokers account, you confirm. Executive ($1,499/mo): one-click trade placement on ES full-size contracts plus a concierge technical walkthrough (setup only — we don't advise on your account or strategy). Price Action Commentary is a $25/mo add-on available with any tier. All pricing is monthly or annual; annual saves roughly 17%.

Why aren't you just trading this yourselves if it works?

We are. The subscription product exists to build a verified, audited track record at scale. That track record is the foundation for an invite-only fund in a later phase. Subscribers benefit in the meantime from the same system we operate ourselves — with full transparency on worst-case historical performance before a single dollar is committed.

If this works, why doesn't something like it already exist?

Fair question — and a common one. Three things had to line up, and only recently did: retail brokerages exposing programmatic order APIs (Interactive Brokers being the most capable), the collapse in cost of the compute and tick-level data needed to test a system across 15 years of market history, and a methodology codified by a practitioner who traded it through full market cycles. None of that was accessible to an independent operator a decade ago. We're not claiming to have found something no one else could — only that the tools to build, test, and run it openly reached individuals recently. It's also why we publish worst-case drawdowns up front instead of promises.

Do I need to purchase market data from you?

No — we do not resell market data. Forte Mare connects to your existing Interactive Brokers connection. An IBKR account with API access is required. See IBKR's third-party connection requirements.

Do I need a funded brokerage account to start?

Only if you choose to test in live mode. The 14-day free trial can be run in paper mode at no cost, using a paper Interactive Brokers account. You can subscribe and commit real capital after the trial, not before.

What happens if the system, my internet, or IBKR goes down?

Nothing fires without your one-click confirmation. If you don't confirm — whether because you miss a notification, your internet is down, or you simply choose not to — no trade is placed. For Standard and Executive, existing positions in your IB account remain governed by the stop and target already placed there, independent of the system's uptime. A max-drawdown circuit breaker halts new signals if a per-session threshold is hit.

How is this not financial advice?

Forte Mare delivers fully standardized trade direction — every Basic subscriber receives the same entry, stop, and target. Nothing we publish is personalized to your account size, risk tolerance, or financial situation. Under CFTC Rule 4.14(a)(9), furnishing standardized trading information in this manner qualifies for the publisher's exemption from Commodity Trading Advisor registration. If you need personalized guidance, consult a licensed financial professional.

Can I audit your performance claims?

Historical performance shown on this site is hypothetical / backtested and subject to the limitations described in Risks & Disclosures. At launch we do not have an independently audited live track record; building one is the explicit purpose of the subscription product. We publish worst-case drawdowns, losing streaks, and error rates openly — not only upside metrics — and will retain 5+ years of promotional materials per CFTC/NFA record-retention norms.

What about taxes on futures P&L?

Consult your CPA. In the United States, exchange-traded futures generally receive Section 1256 60/40 treatment (60% long-term capital gain / 40% short-term), which differs materially from equity tax treatment. Forte Mare does not provide tax advice.

What if I miss the 10-second countdown?

The signal is logged as skipped and no trade fires. You keep a post-signal ticket in your account with the full specification (entry, stop, target, bracket) so you can recreate the order manually in IB if you decide to take the trade late. Missed signals do not reduce your subscription fee, and the system keeps evaluating new setups — the next signal's modal will pop the same way.
